How can I recommend or share an NPR story with others?
NPR offers several helpful ways to share or recommend NPR stories. On many NPR.org pages you will find an option to "share" a page.
When you select this option, you will be presented with a list of
several popular sites where users can share stories with a community of
users. These sites are sometimes referred to as "social bookmarking"
tools. NPR provides these social bookmarking links as a
convenience to our users. These sites are not managed by NPR. Some may
require you to create an account to use their features. Be sure to
check the terms of use and privacy policies of these sites to
understand their practices. In addition to these social bookmarking tools, NPR offers an "e-mail page" feature that allows you to send an
e-mail directory to a friend with information about a page on NPR.org. Finally, clicking the "recommend" button for a story will let visitors to NPR.org know which stories are popular with our listeners. Our most recommended stories are featured in a special window on NPR's homepage.
